Download bata for Android, iOS, or web
We offer three ways to access bata on mobile. Choose the path that works best for your device and preference.
How to install bata and start using it
The installation process takes just a few minutes. Follow these steps to get set up.
-
1
Download the APK or open the web appStep 1
For Android, tap the APK link above and save the file to your Downloads folder. For iOS, open Safari and bookmark the bata web app. For any device, you can access the web app directly at bata.bid.
-
2
Allow unknown sources (Android only)Step 2
On Android, go to Settings → Security → Unknown sources and toggle it on. This allows your device to install apps outside the Google Play Store. This is a standard Android feature; we use it because our APK is distributed directly.
-
3
Create or sign in to your bata accountStep 3
Enter your email, username, and password. If you already have a bata account, just sign in with your credentials. We will send you a verification code via SMS to confirm your identity.
-
4
Add a payment method and start bettingStep 4
Go to Deposit, select DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, or a bank virtual account (local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking), and follow the payment flow. Once your balance appears, you can browse Liga 1, place bets on Piala AFF, or join a live blackjack table.
App versus browser on bata: which is right for you
Our bata app and web version offer the same markets, live tables, and payment methods. The main differences are convenience and speed. The app caches market data on your device, so odds load instantly even if your connection is weak. Push notifications alert you to kick-off times, live-table openings, and withdrawal updates—features the browser version cannot provide. The app also stores your login session securely, so you do not need to type your password every time. If you use bata in Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, or Medan, the app's local notifications help you catch Liga 1 matches and Piala AFF fixtures without checking manually.
The web version is best if you want to avoid storage space or if you prefer not to enable "unknown sources" on Android. It works identically on any browser and requires no installation. Choose whichever fits your workflow—many users keep both installed.
Device requirements and operating system support for bata
Our bata app requires Android 7.0 or later on Android devices and iOS 12.0 or later on Apple devices. We support all modern phones and tablets released in the last six years. If your device runs an older version of Android or iOS, update your operating system first. The web version works on any device with a modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge) and does not have version restrictions. If you have questions about whether your specific device is compatible, contact our support team via live chat.
Common installation issues and how we solve them
On Android, the most common issue is "Installation blocked" because unknown sources is not enabled. Go to Settings → Security → Unknown sources, toggle it on, and try again. Some devices call this setting "Install from Unknown Apps" instead. If your antivirus app flags the APK, this is normal—our APK is legitimate and signed by our certificate. If you trust bata, you can whitelist the APK in your antivirus app and install it normally. On iPhone and iPad, Safari may not let you add bata to your home screen if your iOS version is too old—update to iOS 12 or later and try again. If the web app does not load at all, clear your browser cache and cookies, then refresh the page. You can also try a different browser (Chrome instead of Safari, or vice versa) to isolate the problem. Our live-chat team can walk you through any issue in a few minutes.
Data, permissions, and account security on the bata app
We at bata request only the permissions we need. On Android, we ask for SMS (to verify OTP codes during login and withdrawal), contacts (optional, only if you want two-factor authentication via SMS), and internet access (required to connect to our servers). On iOS, we ask for camera permission only if you choose to upload a selfie for KYC verification. We never access your photo library, location, microphone, or calendar without your explicit permission.
Your password is hashed and stored only on our servers—never on your device. Your payment details are encrypted and handled by our payment processors (local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking), not us. When you log out, we clear your local session. If you lose your phone, your bata account remains secure—anyone trying to log in needs your password and your SMS verification code. We recommend enabling biometric login (fingerprint or Face ID) as an extra layer of protection, since this requires your device to authenticate before bata even loads.
